Royal Numico Sells Brands; Signs Letter Of Intent For Sale Of Unicity

Royal Numico, Zoetermeer, the Netherlands, has signed an agreement in principle for the sale of the brands Colon Clean and Pharmafood to Kernpharm B.V., Veghel, The Netherlands. The brands Colon Clean and Pharmafood were part of Numico’s European activities in the field of nutritional supplements and are sold on the Dutch and Belgian market.

In other news, Royal Numico has signed a letter of intent for the sale of Unicity Network with Activated Holdings LLC, a private investment company based in New York, NY. The transaction is subject to the completion of a definitive agreement and is expected to occur in the second quarter of 2003.
